GFRP has a specific gravity of 1.4 to 2.1 g / cm³ depending on the class of production. These values are 3-4 times less than the weight of reinforcement compared to steel reinforcement.
Fiberglass reinforcement (GFRP) is in fact a dielectric and non-magnetic material, has low thermal conductivity!
GFRP does not depend on environmental conditions. Due to its anti-corrosion composition (fiberglass and polymer resin), GFRP has a much higher durability than steel reinforcement.
GFRP is not affected by salty environments, freeze-thaw effects and chemicals.
In production, we use expensive amine hardeners, which ensures high resistance to the effects of alkali in concrete mortar.
Most other manufacturers use anhydride hardeners, which do not provide complete protection against alkali.
Amine hardeners have significantly better characteristics in terms of protection against alkali.

More than half of the reinforcement produced on the market is produced by small garage productions. They do not have the technological ability to perform complete and high-quality polymerization of reinforcement due to the limitations of the technologies used.
To ensure high strength characteristics, the reinforcement must undergo a polymerization cycle in special long furnaces during production, which require high automation of polymerization and temperature control, are expensive and take up a lot of space. Small-scale production cannot afford such technologies.
