GFRP - polymer reinforcement, reinforced with fiberglass (GFRP). GFRP is designed for reinforcing building foundations, concrete tanks and floors, various hydraulic structures and strengthening the roadway. In road construction, fiberglass reinforcement is used in road elements that are exposed to aggressive anti-icing agents.
GFRP is used for construction purposes, as well as in permanent and temporary structures according to the needs of the project. The problem of corrosion caused by traditional reinforcement is eliminated with GFRP. In addition, GFRP has 2-3 times higher tensile strength than traditional steel reinforcement, and it is lighter and easier to work with than steel.

Supplied in Ø 10 mm whips, 6 meters long.

GFRP - fiberglass reinforced polymer reinforcement - is a round fiberglass rod with a sand coating. It is produced by the pultrusion method, where glass fibers are impregnated with a polymer binder and then pass through a system of filters with a gradual reduction in cross-section.

Why choose GFRP fiberglass reinforcement?
ADVANTAGES OF our products
Имеет более высокую прочность на растяжение.

Has a higher tensile strength.

GFRP has two to three times the tensile strength of steel reinforcement. Tensile strength values can vary depending on the needs of the project. Tensile strength values start from 900 MPa.

Легче металла в 4-5 раз!

Lighter than metal by 4-5 times!

GFRP has a specific gravity of 1.4 to 2.1 g / cm³ depending on the class of production. These values are 3-4 times less than the weight of reinforcement compared to steel reinforcement.

Не проводит тепло и электричество!

Does not conduct heat or electricity!

Fiberglass reinforcement (GFRP) is in fact a dielectric and non-magnetic material, has low thermal conductivity!

Does not corrode!

GFRP does not depend on environmental conditions. Due to its anti-corrosion composition (fiberglass and polymer resin), GFRP has a much higher durability than steel reinforcement.

GFRP is not affected by salty environments, freeze-thaw effects and chemicals.

Chemical resistance to alkali

In production, we use expensive amine hardeners, which ensures high resistance to the effects of alkali in concrete mortar.

Most other manufacturers use anhydride hardeners, which do not provide complete protection against alkali.

Amine hardeners have significantly better characteristics in terms of protection against alkali.

Amine hardeners

Amine hardenersWe use "AMINE" hot-curing hardeners as hardeners for epoxy resins and compounds based on them.

They provide:

  • higher physical and mechanical characteristics of cured systems than iso-MTHF
  • excellent water resistance
  • alkali resistance
  • as well as significantly higher resistance to elevated temperatures
ADVANTAGES OF our products
  • high-quality glassmaking with low oil content
  • high-quality binding resins
  • amine hardeners
  • special additives to improve the quality of the polymerization process

High adhesion to concrete
A sandy coating is better than a smooth surface

The sandy coating structure protects the reinforcement from corrosion (since the concrete medium is highly alkaline), additionally providing high adhesion to the mortar of the bearing layer of the base

Why us?
COMPARE OUR FIBERGLASS REINFORCEMENT

Our GFRP:

  • it has a higher winding density with a uniform distribution of reinforced threads, which provides better fixation and rigidity of the sand coating on the rod fixed with high-temperature resins
  • Fiberglass in the composition of the reinforcement rod is baked and polymerized more efficiently by baking in specialized expensive furnaces
  • The glass fiber filaments used have a low degree of oiling, which increases the quality of fiber polymerization
  • This ensures maximum density and solidity, which ensures the highest rigidity and strength of the reinforcement rod

High quality products:
There are no torn fibers, the final diameter of the rod is equal to the actual declared diameter.

Compare with the "quality" of cheap "garage" fittings

Cheap, low-quality reinforcement from a "garage":

  • Low fiber density - due to poor baking and polymerization process
  • Fiberglass has a high degree of oiling, which reduces baking density, creates a smooth structure and worsens adhesion to the concrete carrier mortar
  • The winding thread does not provide density and rigidity of the rod and is nominal for the type, with a wide pitch
  • When exposed to tearing, the thread easily breaks off and loses strength
  • Open smooth winding can be destroyed by alkali due to the lack of amine hardeners and insufficient polymerization
  • Cheap anhydride hardeners do not provide corrosion protection

Low quality of cheap reinforcement:
threads stick out, winding is uneven and not dense, smooth surface

Compare the diameter on the cut

Cheap reinforcement from a "garage":

  • As can be seen from the cut, the real diameter of the rod of cheap reinforcement is significantly lower than the declared ones
  • peeling and cracks,
  • uneven baking and overheating of threads
  • peeling of threads

On the left are 2 pieces of reinforcement produced in a "cheap" garage, on the right are 2 pieces of reinforcement produced by us

Our products GFRP:
  • Provide full declared diameters according to the passport
  • The density of fiber polymerization is the highest due to the use of special furnaces
  • Absence of cracks, torn threads and unevenness due to the use of high-quality raw materials
Unique production technologies
Our production is equipped with specialized professional equipment and a quality laboratory to ensure the highest quality requirements.

More than half of the reinforcement produced on the market is produced by small garage productions. They do not have the technological ability to perform complete and high-quality polymerization of reinforcement due to the limitations of the technologies used.

* based on marketing research

High-quality polymerization of glass roving fibers

To ensure high strength characteristics, the reinforcement must undergo a polymerization cycle in special long furnaces during production, which require high automation of polymerization and temperature control, are expensive and take up a lot of space. Small-scale production cannot afford such technologies.

Process automation

Allows to exclude:

  • burning of reinforcement,
  • bending,
  • heterogeneity.

Ensures:

  • stable constant quality,
  • uniform even winding density,
  • even polymerization of the reinforcement rod.

The result is an exceptionally high level of product quality stability!
